FARM STOCK RULES

1.        Antique tractors built prior to 1960

2.        Classes may be added or deleted if necessary.

3.        Driver must obey flagman at all times failure to so may be cause for disqualification.

4.        Any tractor or puller found to be unsafe or illegal may be disqualified or barred from pulling.

5.        Tractor and sled must remain in bounds at all times.  Out of bounds will result in disqualification.

6.        Any weights or parts falling off tractor while hooked to sled will result in disqualification.

7.        All tractors must be in line ready to pull at start of each class.  TRACTORS MUST WEIGH BEFORE HOOKING TO SLED.  Drivers must remain seated at all times.  Tractors must be in neutral when hooking and unhooking from sled.

8.        Front wheels of tractor are not allowed to exceed 16 inches off the ground while pulling.  A chain and 16 inch piece of pipe will be attached to tractor when hooked to sled.  During the pull, pipe will drag parallel to ground.  If front of tractor raises pipe off the ground during the pull, tractor will be flagged and distance will be measured.

9.        100lb weight allowance for each class.

10.     NO CUT TIRES IN FARM STOCK CLASS.  Tires are to be stock size or one size over stock.  Tires must be mounted on manufactures recommended rim width.  Radials, chains, steel wheels are not allowed.

11.     Pump gas, diesel, or LP fuel only.  No racing gas, alcohol or nitrous may be used.

12.     First gear only unless tractor is equipped with creeper gear, then 2nd gear may be used.  NO SHIFTING ON THE GO.

13.     Custom made weight brackets are not permitted.  Factory weights may be used, factory wheel weights, factory front-end weights allowed.  Suitcase weight permitted, but may be bolted to frame only.

14.     Hitches are to be maximum 16 inches high and locked at 16 inches on tractors such as IH fast hitch, Ford 3 point hitch etc.  Hitches must be as from factory-unaltered for that specific tractor.  Operator must furnish clevis with a minimum opening of 2.5 inches bolted or pined to drawbar.  Farmalls must pull from an original drawbar hooked to the original belly hook point.

15.     Stock RPM.  Stock block, head, manifolds and carb.  If external part is not in the parts book for that specific model tractor it cannot be used.  Stock coils & air cleaners must be used.  Straight pipes allowed.

16.     Tractors must maintain original stock appearance.  IF IT DID NOT COME FROM THE FACTORY, IT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE FARM STOCK CLASS.  No aluminum allowed.  Homemade side shields are not allowed.  Except factory shields such as Olivers etc.  No homemade rear end covers allowed.  All guards, shrouds, covers, and shields shall be in place.

14.     Hitches to be minimum of 18inches back from center of rear axle and max of 20 inches high.  Hitch material cannot be thinner than ¾ inch and not thicker than 1.25 inches.  Hitch to have 3-inch dia. Hole with 1-inch material thickness around hole.  Clevis may be bolted or pinned to drawbar.  Hitches and drawbars must be stationary in all directions.

15.     Any RPM kept with in reason.  Stock appearing block, head may be aftermarket.  Manifold may be of any design.  Carburetor may be any agricultural type.  Electronic ignitions, MSD ignitions, alternators, straight pipes allowed.  Air cleaners must be used although any type must be used.  Run what ya brung!

16.      Tractors must have stock frame, transmission, rear end and axle housing.  Aluminum allowed.  Homemade side shields and rear end covers allowed.  All guards, shrouds, covers, and shields shall be in place.
